We have a keen interest in helping women develop their financial independence through business and financial literacy. This is targeted at not only older women but young girls of high school going age.

Maya is multiple award-winning journalists and well-respected Money Maven, She educates South Africans through her multimedia platforms and she workshops them to take control of their financial lives and make the financial system work for them.

Having worked in the financial industry, private banking, and stockbroking, combined she has over 16years of experience as a financial journalist, Maya has a deep understanding of the world of money. She has an honors degree in Economics from the University of Witwatersrand.

She is joining us for our BLT session for a discussion about the importance of building a healthy credit record, managing credit, the importance of saving, etc

joy, and fulfillment. At a tender age of 23 she had her first business seven years down the line she tapped into 3 different business sectors. She has a tax compliance business, an NPO, and a catering company. The vast diversity of these businesses are all a glimpse into the “Burbles bubbly life”.
She is a resilient black woman who will stop at nothing just to achieve her goals whilst not neglecting upliftment of where she operates. If you not interested in the cooperate world and her bubbly character, then I’m sure her contagious smile will get your attention. She believes in making it happen.

As a Public Relations graduate Nothando ventured into the digital space out of interest when she saw the power the digital world has. With over 7 years working in PR, Marketing & Brand Building, Nothando has worked with a number of SMEs to not only guide their businesses from its early stages but to instill digital knowledge on how to reach their potential clients online.

Nothando leads a small team at her Durban office, where they not only help SMEs to successfully brand their businesses but also works with global brand, Johnson & Johnson, creating digital content for their projects. Through her personal brand, Nothando continues to educate and empower small business owners about the digital space, but also to instill entrepreneurial principles that will drive commitment & growth for their brands.
